How is this group different than SBIR Linked-In?

Hi everyone:

I signed up for this group because I saw a posting in the SBIR linked-in group.  However, I see that there are only about 5 people in this group compared to 400+ in the linkedin group.  My question is: What additional features/services does this site bring that Linked-In does not offer?  I am curious to know those details so we can expand this group if there is indeed value in doing so.
